Visual Networks Updates Fourth-Quarter Business Expectations
Rockville, MD, January 5, 2004 — Visual Networks®, Inc. (NASDAQ: VNWK), today announced updated financial and operating expectations for the quarter, ended December 31, 2003.
Visual Networks expects revenue to be between $10.5 million and $11.0 million an increase from the previously guided range of $9.5 million to $9.8 million discussed in the company's October 16, 2003 conference call. Operating expenses for the quarter are expected to be in the $8.6 to $9.1 range, slightly higher than previously guided. The company expects the loss per share to be between $0.03 and $0.05 for this same time period.
The company also reiterated that it will release full fourth quarter financial results on Thursday, January 15, 2004. The fourth quarter conference call will be held on Thursday, January 15, at 4:45 p.m. EST.
