Visual Networks Delivers Enhanced Application Performance Intelligence With New Network-Wide Dashboard
Rockville, Md. (May 24, 2005) – Visual Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: VNWK), a leading provider of network and application performance management solutions, today announced significant enhancements to the application performance management capabilities of its flagship product, Visual UpTime® Select™. The most prominent new feature in Visual UpTime Select is the availability of a network-wide dashboard that highlights application performance from throughout the enterprise. A modular solution, Visual UpTime Select provides in-depth, real-time and historical information that enables enterprises to intelligently manage network availability across the entire enterprise.
Visual UpTime Select’s dashboard enables IT managers to manage the entire application infrastructure from a centralized console by providing a single-screen view highlighting the enterprise’s top causes of poor performance. With the new dashboard, IT managers can rapidly identify new applications, rogue applications, and new servers as well as track key performance metrics such as application usage, server usage, and server response time. Armed with this intelligence, users can optimize proactive planning and troubleshooting efforts by honing in on key applications and servers that often require immediate attention.
