Visual Networks Introduces VoIP Advisor -
New VoIP Lifecycle Management Product Bundle
Rockville, Md. (Aug. 2, 2005) – Visual Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: VNWK), a leading provider of network and application performance management solutions, today announced a new assessment bundle that VARs and enterprises can easily deploy to manage the entire VoIP lifecycle – from pre-assessment to ongoing management. VoIP Advisor incorporates Visual UpTime® Select™, a modular solution that provides in-depth, real-time and historical information that enables enterprises to intelligently manage network availability across the entire enterprise.
VoIP Advisor is available exclusively via Visual Network’s VAR partners and has a promotional retail price of $8,499. It includes two 10/100 Ethernet appliances with 20 Mbps WAN/LAN analysis, full Visual UpTime Select software, and the Visual UpTime Select server. VoIP Advisor also incorporates the new Select VoIP MRI™ software module, which is an all-in-one solution for VoIP lifecycle management. Select VoIP MRI utilizes actual real-time customer application traffic to assess VoIP readiness and, once VoIP is deployed, monitors site-to-site traffic to discover the root cause of VoIP performance problems.
