Broadband Advisor^™ is an end-user application which gives a summary of network configuration settings, provides a launch pad for various network related system utilities, and allows the end user to perform a host of network troubleshooting tasks.


Broadband Advisor also allows customer care representatives to deploy a test or test suite to an end user to test the connectivity or verify the accessibility of IP network services, such as Web, mail, news, and DNS. Since customer care representatives have the ability to troubleshoot remotely, maintenance dispatches/truck rolls are decreased and mean time to repair (MTTR) is lowered, resulting in decreased operational support cost to the customer care organization.
