Dedicated Agents Suite

Visual IP InSight's Dedicated Suite solves the performance management concern associated with running mission critical applications across the public Internet, by providing service providers and their enterprise customers with visibility into dedicated IP and site-to-site IP VPN services.

At the heart of Visual IP InSight's Dedicated Suite is the Visual IP Service Element (Visual ISET), a hardware device which is deployed either on the LAN side of the customer's access router or within the service provider's core.

Visual ISET performs active testing for mission critical IP services along key performance metrics including availability, latency, throughput, packet loss, and time to download, enabling site-to-site performance visibility. The ISE collects this information and reports to the IPI back-end system, providing a single solution for reporting and troubleshooting across multiple IP services including dial, cable, DSL, T-1 and VPN.

Network Operations can then view this information via the Network Performance and Service Level Reporter components of Service Level Manager.
